Behind the camera, website, and blog is me – Jeffrey Wetherill – IT director, coffee connoisseur, avid hiker, beginning kayaker, camping enthusiast, and long-time photographer. I live in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee (just north of Chattanooga) with my wife Sarah, daughter Carly, and our two pooches – Suzie (Weimeraner) and Jazz (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel). I’ve been snapping photos since I was in high school (early ’80s) and have always taken an interest in photography.
In terms of my gear, I’m a proud Pentaxian! Here are some of the things you’ll find in my camera bag …
- Pentax K-1 (full-frame) and Pentax K-3 (APSC) cameras
- Pentax lenses (28-105mm, 18-135mm, 50-200mm, 35mm, and 50mm)
- Sigma lenses (24mm and 50mm)
- LowePro & Vanguard bags
- Hoya filters
- Vanguard monopod & tripod; meFoto mini tripod
- Lots of other accessories
My photography home is wethersnaps.com. I also regularly post photos on Instagram and from time-to-time on Facebook and Google +. I’m an avid reader of pentaxforums.com. In 2017, I graduated from the Professional Photography Course at the New York Institute of Photography (nyip.edu) and continue to pursue ongoing training and workshop opportunities.
All of the photos on wethersnaps.com are my original work. They are copyrighted and can only be used with permission. If you’d like to use one, or you find anything on wethersnaps that interests you, please contact me. I’d love to hear from you. Thank you for your interest in my photography.
